FAQ
What is a QR code?
A QR (Quick Response) code is a two-dimensional barcode that can store text, URLs, and other data. It can be scanned by smartphone cameras.
What can I encode in a QR code?
You can encode URLs, plain text, WiFi credentials (SSID, password, encryption), and vCard contact information. Most smartphones will automatically detect the content type.
What is error correction level?
Error correction allows a QR code to be readable even if partially damaged. Level L recovers 7% of data, M recovers 15%, Q recovers 25%, and H recovers 30%. Higher levels create denser codes.
What size should I use?
For printing, use at least 256px. For large prints or billboards, increase the size. The QR code will scale well as SVG.
